School Holiday Camps & Activities
We have a range of OFSTED* registered holiday activities to offer children, aged 4 upwards**. Our Active Kids Camp, Soccer Schools and the Girl’s Football Camp, run in February Half Term, the Easter holidays, May Half Term, across the summer and finish for the year at October Half Term (excludes Bank Holidays). Offering sports and entertainment for your children for the entire day thoroughout the school holidays. We also offer breakfast as part of our extended day offer that will fuel them for the day ahead! New for May Half Term 2024 Tennis and Cricket Camps.
Please note Extended Day is pre-book only.

Active Kids Camp (Inc. The Den)
Standard Day
Our Active Kids Camps are held throughout the school holidays running 5 days a week (excludes Bank Holidays) and offer a range of inspiring sports and activities to entertain, stimulate and educate children aged 4* – 12 years. The activities are run by qualified Sports Coaches and are held in local schools in and around Trowbridge. *4 year olds must be attending primary school.

Active Kids Camp (Inc. The Den)
Extended Day
Fuel up for Kids Camp, Soccer Schools and Girls Football! Join the Active Trowbridge team and start your day with a healthy breakfast of cereals, before main registration with our Extended Day options:

Soccer Schools
Standard Day & Extended Day
Soccer Schools is a football holiday camp which runs 5 days a week and include warm-up, technique training that focusses on all aspects of the game including passing, dribbling, shooting, attacking and defending. We also play small sided games and tournaments. Soccer Schools are for boys and girls aged 5 – 14 years and are suitable for football players of all ability.

The Girls Football Camp runs on a Thursday during the school holidays and is inspired by the FA Wildcats Football Programme. It includes warm-up, technique training that focusses on all aspects of the game including passing, dribbling, shooting, attacking and defending. We also play small sided games and tournaments. Soccer Schools are for girls aged 5 – 14 years and are suitable for football players of all ability.

John of Gaunt Summer Schools
John of Gaunt School will be hosting their free Summer Schools programme for Year 5 and 6 students once again this summer. Please select the week required carefully, this year there are separate weeks for each year group. Year 6 week is for students attending John of Gaunt only from September 2026. Registration for bookings close on the 4th July 2026
Week 1: Year 5 – 27th July – 31st July 2026
Week 2: Year 6 – 3rd August – 7th August 2026

Amelie did her first day at Active Kids Club today, she was a bit nervous as her older brother wasn’t going. Everyone is so welcoming from when you drop them off to when you pick them up. Hopefully we’ll see you again at Easter!
Summer Football Camp
My son attended summer holiday football camp at the beginning of the summer holidays and absolutely loved it. He was nervous at first but the staff were awesome with him and he had such a great time. Came back certificates and two medals! Many thanks to all the great staff at Active Trowbridge.
Half Term holiday fun!
My 5 year old son has been to Active Kids Club during the summer and half term school holidays and loves it. It introduces him to different children, in a different setting, doing different activities – it’s good to broaden your horizons whatever your age.
