Schools and Pre-Schools

Active Trowbridge has devised an expanded programme of sport and leisure activities which are perfect for pupils of all ages. We already work with numerous schools across the region helping teachers deliver a range of services to encourage children and families to become more active.

Our breakfast clubs provide a wide range of activities for all ages and also include a nutritious breakfast to start the day.

Active Trowbridge will provide high quality lessons that are in line with the national curriculum. Schemes of work are provided to each school and will link with their yearly sport overview plan. We will ensure the children are progressing in their learning to reach their individual set targets which can link to school reports.

Active Trowbridge lunchtimes are designed to engage children with structured activities and will ensure they are all participating in activity. This service has proven to be key when managing behaviour and we can also help upskill sports leaders as peer mentors.

Our after school clubs offer a unique opportunity to provide sports and activities as part of the school’s extended services. Active Trowbridge have over 30 different activities to pick from including football, tri-golf, netball, hockey, cricket and dance along with alternative sports such as indo-boarding, street surfing and fencing.

We will be working in partnership with the school to provide extended activities for children who require further care. These clubs can consist of a variation of activities from arts and crafts to music and games. Timings can be decided on based upon the needs of the children and families. Snack time will be provided for by the school.

Trowbridge Park Nature Trail

The NEW Nature Trail to encourage youngsters to explore the local Park.

My son (5) has previously attended the Active kids camps which he loves, but this May half term he wanted to try something different so he attended Soccer school and the Hotshot tennis club. They were a big success for him. I haven’t got anything but praise for Active Trowbridge, he loves going, makes new friends, the staff are very encouraging and he comes back full of enthusiasm and very proud of himself. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the holiday clubs to anyone!
